Aims and Services

Study UK was set up by Victoria Williams to provide a service for international students wishing to access UK Higher Education courses.

If you have decided to further your education in the UK, let us advise you on the best path for you.  In addition to our knowledge and proven experience of the UCAS application system, we also have contacts in University Foundation Programmes in the beautiful and historic cities of Oxford and Bath.  We have carefully selected our featured courses, mindful of “quality over quantity”.

Background

Victoria Williams is the independent consultant behind Study-UK.  Her first UCAS success came at the age of 17, when she was offered places on all five of her chosen courses.  She decided to take up her offer at Oxford University, where she spent five years studying for a Masters degree in Engineering Science, followed by a postgraduate teaching diploma.

Victoria has taught at secondary level in the UK and in Belgium (European School) for a total of 11 years and has had responsibility for UCAS applications while working in both countries.  She has also taught at university in France, at the same time as setting up and managing a professional training centre and official ETS test centre.  She therefore has experience of preparing students for exams, such as TOEIC and TOEFL, as well as IELTS.

Victoria’s knowledge of the UCAS system and the different UK institutions will be an asset to your navigation through an often confusing process.  If you decide rather to opt for a foundation study year, Victoria will provide the assistance you need to fulfill the requirements.  She will be able to advise you, based on your national qualifications and your future goals, on which courses best suit your profile.  The continual assistance subsequently provided and attention to detail in checking your form will provide you the reassurance and confidence you need at this crucial moment in your life.
